ABOUT
I have had a varied and interesting career in Aerospace. I started in Aerodynamics and then moved into Systems Engineering, working mainly on Fuel and Mechanical Systems.
I have experience of the whole design lifecycle from defining requirements progressing through the lifecycle design reviews, defining and carrying out tests as part of the V&V process and integrating systems into the platform.
I have consistently demonstrated that I can get up to speed with new projects in a short amount of time and can quickly provide valued input. I like learning in general, and enjoy the satisfaction of having learned another system.

Patents
Aircraft System Refuel Piping (20120025025). A novel concept of adding ‘Riblets’ to the inside of fuel pipes to reduce skin friction and therefore reduce the time to refuel.
Flame Arrestor Cartridge (20120273239). A different type of flame arrestor made from 3D printed titanium with a reticulated structure, to perform as a flame arrestor but smaller and lighter than conventional flame arrestors.
